It’s getting really too hot to hike at the moment, although we have done some lovely walks at altitude up on the Ardèche Plateau. It’s for this reason that we recommend that our Walksweeks guests choose a date in Spring or Autumn in order to enjoy the very best of all that our area has to offer.

So I’m posting a little video that Markus made of a walk we did in May, just above les Sarziers. The camera is a little wobbly at times since he was filming a he walked, but it’s refreshing to wallow in all that green countryside, now that the hay has been cut and baled and the stubble fields are golden yellow.

To all our guests who have sadly had to cancel this year, we look forward to walking these routes again with you in 2021!
As always you will find the video on the far right of your screen if you are reading this on a desktop. On a tablet or smart phone, click the three bar symbol on the right and scroll down.
Oh, so evocative. It makes me long to be there.
And now you’ll be harvesting tomatoes and courgettes…..
Lovely memories, thank you both.
Love Lesley
Yes, the courgettes are on course to take over the world!
