2008 was a challenging year for the Arlebosc vineyards. The wet summer made it impossible to keep the “mildiou” at bay, even with liberal use of “Bouillie Bordelaise”. Our yearly vendanges with our neighbours at Morlanche produced 680 kg in comparison to 1104 kg last year. The alcohol content was the highest of Arlebosc, but with 10.5 degres it is hardly a record.
Of course the lunch and merry making was as good as any other year!
